Services on the Abuja-Kaduna railway service have been suspended indefinitely by the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC). The suspension was announced via a notice to customers on its booking website where the corporation said the step was taken to keep the passengers safe.
It added that the services will be restored as soon as possible and passengers will be notified.

The chairman of the Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ibrahim Bilal, has resigned from his position, Naija News reports. The party chieftain’s action was confirmed in a statement signed and made available to newsmen on Friday by APC National Vice Chairman, Salihu Mustapha.
